Cybersecurity Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity professional to support and strengthen the company’s security posture across infrastructure, devices, users, and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.

  • Support compliance with security frameworks and standards including:

    • ISO 27001

    • ISO 27701

    • ISO 42001

    • SOC 2

    • Cyber Essentials / Cyber Essentials Plus

  • Manage and monitor endpoint security solutions and antivirus platforms.

  • Oversee Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and device compliance.

  • Coordinate and manage external and internal penetration testing activities.

  • Implement and monitor email security and filtering solutions.

  • Plan and execute phishing simulation campaigns and security awareness training.

  • Identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.

  • Monitor security incidents and support incident response activities.

  • Respond to Data Subject Requests (DSRs) in accordance with GDPR and internal data protection policies.

  • Work closely with Compliance, IT teams and external vendors to improve security controls.

  • Leverage AI-driven security tools and automation scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or low-code platforms) to streamline security monitoring, automate routine compliance checks, and accelerate incident response triage.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

  • Experience with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance environments.

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • MDM platforms

    • Antivirus / EDR solutions

    • Email filtering and anti-spam systems

    • Vulnerability management

    • Manage patching and security update processes across systems and devices.

    • Penetration testing coordination

    • Phishing awareness platforms

  • Familiarity with Cyber Essentials requirements.

  • Knowledge of risk management and security governance.

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Language Requirements

  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
